Frequently Asked Questions
2. Who will be driving your children?
All goEzz rides are served by our drivers who use their vehicles. Every goEzz driver has undergone a meticulous background check and has at least two years of experience in childcare. Whether they've been parents, teachers, nannies, nurses, counselors, babysitters, or daycare workers, they're seasoned in making rides fun and safe for kids.
They know how to keep your little ones engaged and comfortable while understanding the importance of maintaining appropriate conversations.
On the other hand, children driven by goEzz drivers enjoy getting to know these trusted adults who are interested in them and invested in their education.
3. What is your process for selecting driving partners?
Safety is our top priority while vetting drivers. We select responsible, patient, and safety-conscious persons with a clean driving record, experience working with children, and a solid commitment to ensuring their safety. Drivers must undergo comprehensive background checks, including criminal history and driving records, and can be First Aid and CPR certified. A well-maintained vehicle with appropriate child safety seats and knowledge of local routes is essential. These drivers are dependable individuals who communicate effectively with children and maintain a safe, reliable, and comfortable transportation environment.
goEzz verifies two references from a driver with a good citizen background. Drivers collect signage, video cameras, and booster seats in person before they can serve any ride.

4. Will the same driver pick up my child every day?
We serve a community of parents, drivers, schools, activity providers, child therapy centers, special education centers, and more, and we get various ride requests each day. We assign these rides to drivers based on availability, route proximity, and other criteria. We try to assign the same driver daily for the route; however, we can’t guarantee the same. In some scenarios, like drivers having vehicle maintenance, appointments, wanting to route that have more rides back-to-back, or any other unforeseen scenario, we assign a different driver.
Parents receive the driver and vehicle information a day before the ride. The goEzz support team is available to assist during the ride.
5. What is your car seat/booster policy?
While completing the child’s profile, parents provide a booster seat requirement.
Drivers carry booster seats in their cars and use them at the time of the ride if they are marked as required. Drivers follow the regulations set by the jurisdiction they are servicing.
6. Can I request not to share my child's ride?
Rides are not shared by default. However, parents can choose to share the ride to save up to 30% on the cost. Our company principal is to make recurring rides affordable for parents and reduce the number of vehicles on the road, so we offer a sharing option whenever possible.
7. How are rides priced?
Our pricing is based on the distance and travel time of the ride.
Visit our pricing estimator tool, Ride Services Price Estimator | goEzz, to estimate the cost of requesting a single, one-time ride.
We provide discounts for shared rides, partner schools, and multiple riders. Please watch the video below to learn more about how our pricing works.

8. How does it work?
Parents, schools, activity providers, child therapy clinics, and more (Ride organizers) sign up on our website, www.goEzz.net, add their children and request single or multiple rides at a time. goEzz platform assigns the ride to its drivers. When a driver is assigned, the ride organizer receives a confirmation text and email. A final confirmation is sent out to all parties at 7:00 pm before the day of the ride. Confirmation includes driver, vehicle information, and a link to watch the ride live. Ride is Serviced. The ride organizer receives real-time notifications for rider pick-up and drop-off. 10. Can my child be dropped off at a different location other than provided in the ride schedule?
You can edit the rides at any time after they are created. The ride will be confirmed after the assigned driver acknowledges the updated location and/or time.
11. Will I get the driver's contact number?
We don’t share drivers' contact numbers with parents to avoid distraction during driving. The goEzz support team is always available for any queries and questions and is on top of every ride to ensure every child is picked up and dropped off safely.
12. Are the drivers trained for medical aid for the children?
Our drivers must have prior experience with children and be trained in medical aid for children if necessary to service a ride.
13. Are the drivers trained by CPSTI to put on car seat/booster correctly?
We take the safety of our riders very seriously. Our drivers are required to complete the training mandated by the jurisdiction in which they service the ride and the NSC Defensive driving course.

21. Does the driver walk the child into school or activities, and sign them out?
goEzz drivers can walk the child into the school or activity (sign-in) when dropping them off or sign out your child when picking them up. Ride organizers must select the sign-in and sign-out options when requesting their child’s ride.
22. My child’s school has multiple entrances for pick-up and drop-off; how will the driver know where to pick up from or drop off?
Ride organizers can add pick-up and drop-off instructions and drawings when requesting rides. This simple step can help our drivers find your child quickly and securely. Whether you're detailing your child's waiting location or including any unique instructions for drop-off, these guidelines ensure our drivers meet your child at the correct spot, minimizing unnecessary waiting periods at stops.
Our drivers, equipped with clear instructions, can arrive on time, find your child more rapidly, and finish the ride with the least possible delays. Plus, adding these instructions takes only a few seconds!
23. What happens to the other children in the vehicle if the driver must walk into a building?
The goEzz operations team considers all aspects of the ride and riders and assigns the drivers. The driver will not leave a rider under 12 unattended in the vehicle at any time and is instructed to take them along.
24. How does the driver safely manage multiple children in busy parking lots?
The goEzz operations team considers all aspects of rides and riders, creates routes, and assigns drivers accordingly. When picking up multiple children, we work with the school and activities to create a single pick-up point.
25. My children’s school may require more information about the pick-up and drop-off process.
The safety of your riders is our highest priority. You can add the school or activity provider as an alternate contact and mark them to receive notifications for driver and vehicle. goEzz drivers can get verified at the pick-up if such instructions are provided when requesting rides.
