Frequently Asked Questions

1. Can I schedule a ride for my 4-year-old child?

Currently, we are unable to service the rides for children under the age of 5. goEzz serves the rides for children aged between 5-18.
All goEzz rides are served by our driving partners who use their own vehicle. These driving partners are legally authorized to work in United States and are hired by goEzz after stringent verification.
We follow strict process to hire driving partners. They need to pass county, state, national level background checks, motor record vehicle checks, drug, and alcohol test. They are required to have experience with children. goEzz verifies two references from driving partner with a good citizen background. Our driving partners collect signage, video cameras, booster seats etc in person before they can serve any ride.
We want riders and parents be at ease and hence, we try to assign the same driver every day for the route. However, when we have more riders on the route or driver not available due to vehicle maintenance or on vacation, or any other unforeseen scenario, we assign a different driver. Ride confirmation, driver information, vehicle information is sent out to parents an evening before the ride day.
While completing profile, parents provide booster seat requirement for their child. As per the WA state law, children should be at least 40 pounds before they use a booster seat and can ride in a booster seat until they are 4 feet, 9 inches tall. Drivers carry booster seats in their car and use it at the time of the ride. goEzz provides these booster seats to drivers. In some cases, parents provide booster seats too.
Our company policy is to make recurring rides affordable for parents as well reduce the number of vehicles on the road. Hence, your child may be sharing rides with other children. We are working on our website where parents can choose to not have shared ride for their child.
Our Ride price is based on the ride distance and travel time of the ride.
